Take care of your leather bags and accessories in the right way.

The leather becomes more attractive with age if you take care of it in the right way. Here are some tips on how to do this.

Clean carefully

Make the habit of regularly and carefully wiping down your product with a slightly damp cloth, in order to keep the leather clean. If the product has obtained a grease spot then you avoid using water and instead use a dry cloth and rub gently.

Impregnation

Each of our products is unique. It has a patchy but authentic texture. Even at the production stage, the leather is oiled as part of the impregnation. However, this makes the product more delicate and demanding. Therefore, it is recommended to additionally use impregnating agents. To keep the product in good condition for a long time and less visible scratches, use e.g. paste, cream, colorless wax or pigment wax during each cleaning.

Storage

Leather product that you do not use regularly should be stored in a dust bag or other type of fabric bag, in a place that is not exposed to direct sunlight. This helps the leather product to maintain its natural softness and will prevent it from drying out over time.

Weather conditions

Avoid carrying your bag in the rain, but if it happens when you are out, do not worry. We recommend that you dry the bag with a dry cloth when you get home and let it dry completely at room temperature. If the bag has become very wet, it is a good idea to stop it with a towel or similar so that it retains its optimal shape.

Other recommendations

When using Alcohol-Based Hand Sanitiser, ensure your hands are fully dry when touching your product after any application of hand sanitiser.

Try to avoid scratching, like sharp nails or rough objects during use.

When using the product, try to avoid grease or e.g. hand lotions.
